Data protection without compromise, this has been the case at Swobbl since the company was founded. For this reason we consider the principle of data economy as important cornerstones and store necessary data for the shortest possible time. From modern encryption methods to minimal data collection, we take all necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your data. The collection, processing, storage and protection of data is carried out in accordance with the applicable legal regulations and ordinances (including the DSGVO).

1. General

The Swobbl services are designed to leave as little metadata as possible on the servers. All services are based on the principles of "Privacy by Design" and "Privacy by Default". For these reasons it is not necessary to provide personal data. The identification of a user is done via the login via Swobbl-ID or optionally via a cookie (keep logged in function), which is also based on the Swobbl-ID and checksums. If you voluntarily enter an alternative e-mail address or your name in the Mail & Cloud Service, you declare that you are at least 16 years of age according to Art. 8 (DSGVO) or that you have the consent of your legal guardian. By using Swobbl, you agree to the collection, processing and use of your data as described below.

2 Purpose of data collection and data processing

Swobbl collects and uses data to operate its own services. This enables the delivery of the correct language, the transmission and reception of emails, the storage of the data transmitted to the Swobbl services for the mail & cloud service and the general operation of the services. The data will be processed on our own server infrastructure in Switzerland and will never be passed on to third parties. The only exceptions are necessary data for sending mail, sharing data in the cloud service and payment data for the business processing of the Swobbl storage space and service extension.

3. Scope and duration of data collection and data processing

We cannot guarantee complete data security when communicating by e-mail or transferring forms on this website, so we recommend that you send confidential information by post.
